What does the Style Squad about Valentine’s Day?
Rain or shine, a fresh coat brightens everything.
Sheryl’s take on the trench:
“It’s only February, but I’m already SO over winter and ready to put away my heavy coats. This season it’s all about the trench, and not just the classic Casablanca version. I love this one’s clean, almost architectural print; it has a certain uptown look, but also fits in perfectly in my little community. The deep navy color is very on-trend this season, which totally works for me since it looks awesome with my dark wash jeans (and khaki pants and a pencil skirt, and, and …) With a bright yellow no-iron shirt and a pretty scarf, the world’s already starting to look a little sunnier.”

If you have an hourglass shape, you can wear just about anything (and look fabulous)! This curvaceous figure has proportionately balanced shoulders and hips, a fuller bust, and a distinctly defined waist. Think Kate Winslet or Sofia Vergara from the television hit Modern Family.
Here are some tips for dressing this feminine shape. Overall, forget oversized or baggy clothes; work those curves, don’t hide them!
TOPS: You can wear a V-neck, scoop neck, or wrap top. In fact, you can wear pretty much anything you want!
PANTS: Lengthen your shape with dark colors on the bottom and light colors on top. Mid-rise pants will help camouflage any extra tummy. A slightly flared silhouette will help balance out your hips.
SKIRTS: Try a fitted pencil skirt. Wear a pretty silk blouse tucked in or a lightweight cardigan with a thin belt.
DRESSES: To emphasize that waist, think wrap style dresses, or adding a belt.
JACKETS: For a sophisticated look, a structured blazer is a classy option. Again, to show off that waist, you might want to add a belt.
When it’s all said and done, the bottom line is to wear what makes you feel beautiful, comfortable and confident.

Spring Jacket Trends & Style Tips - Coldwater Creek
As our West Region DVP, Sabrina’s always on the go.
In Sabrina’s words …
"When I’m on the road, I may visit up to nine Coldwater Creek stores over a three-day stretch in my region, so I like to make one outfit work three ways, just by changing up the top. This is a great transitional look: both the cardi and jeans are a deep almost-black blue, a nice fresh hue for spring. The scarf is just the right finishing touch – it adds color and pulls the whole look together. Best of all, no bag to check!"
