For a surprising change of pace this fall, turn to black and white.
These scaled-up graphics pair nicely with each other, or perfectly complement fall’s brilliant colors.
Picture yourself in a lively top and black pants – a little bit of vintage Paris glamour, a little bit of right-now chic.
Great details like delicate necklines, romantic ruffles, and careful tailoring update these pieces.
Black and white also makes a fantastic backdrop for bold strokes of color and accessories. Try a dotted top with colored denim, or rev things up with scarves and jewelry in splashy, contrasting hues.
Your fall forecast —right on time and right on-trend!
Fall breezes in with gorgeous tones of terracotta and aster, olive and cypress, and out-of-the-blue shades of turquoise and robin’s egg.
The color blocking trend is still going strong, so try pairing turquoise jeans with a curry green top, or layer fuchsia over pomegranate.
Or, tone it down by grounding your look with black & white or a soft neutral with a pop of that amazing color thrown in the mix.
Whether you choose a little or a lot, the spectrum is brilliant and the look is perfectly timed for fall!
Coming this Wednesday to a theater near you ... Meryl Streep’s newest film Hope Springs.
We’re definitely putting it on our must-see list. Why? Not only does it have an amazing cast with the fabulous Streep, Tommy Lee Jones and Steve Carell, but (drumroll please) Coldwater Creek has a cameo role!
The main character Kay (Streep) and her friend work at Coldwater Creek, so we get sneak peeks of fashions and interiors from our Milford, Conn. store.
The plot revolves around a devoted couple whose marriage has gotten a little bland after 31
years ... yes, it can happen! :) So Kay and Arnold (Jones) embark on a week of intensive marriage therapy to spice things up, with, of course, some hilarious results.
It’s a little naughty, a little nice, and a whole lot of fun! Don’t miss it!
