"My favorite colors of the season – passionate pinks, which look pretty and slightly unexpected with this season's hot house oranges.
Here's a tip: if you're petite like I am (5'3"), crops don't always hit where you want them to so just make your own by doing a wide cuff on your jeans. Plus our knit jeans are so comfortable and cool."

What Sheryl’s loving right now:
“Sometimes it IS all black and white. Take this jacket. One side, a sophisticated graphic print. The other, solid black. Getting two totally different looks from one cool piece? That’ll make you do a double take. Plus, I love how the sunny yellow top adds a pop of color.”

For Sabrina, a streamlined approach to wardrobing is essential.
Sabrina on wear-now, wear-later:
“As a busy, working mom, simplicity and versatility are essential. A pencil skirt is a staple in my wardrobe – this one, in dark-wash denim, is easy to dress up for work or down for play. And since (surprisingly!) I don’t have much time to shop, when I find something I love like this flirty petals top, I buy it in multiples. Colorful scarves keep me looking bright even though my tan has long since faded. And using one as a belt … it’s a cinch!”

Bailey talks about what’s hue for spring:
“These shades of coral, peach, and orange are hot, hot, hot right now. They can be soft and ultra-feminine, but they also make a confident, unique statement. I am loving mixing them with each other and creamy neutrals.”

Rain or shine, a fresh coat brightens everything.
Sheryl’s take on the trench:
“It’s only February, but I’m already SO over winter and ready to put away my heavy coats. This season it’s all about the trench, and not just the classic Casablanca version. I love this one’s clean, almost architectural print; it has a certain uptown look, but also fits in perfectly in my little community. The deep navy color is very on-trend this season, which totally works for me since it looks awesome with my dark wash jeans (and khaki pants and a pencil skirt, and, and …) With a bright yellow no-iron shirt and a pretty scarf, the world’s already starting to look a little sunnier.”

In Sabrina’s words …
"When I’m on the road, I may visit up to nine Coldwater Creek stores over a three-day stretch in my region, so I like to make one outfit work three ways, just by changing up the top. This is a great transitional look: both the cardi and jeans are a deep almost-black blue, a nice fresh hue for spring. The scarf is just the right finishing touch – it adds color and pulls the whole look together. Best of all, no bag to check!"

A season turns, and Bailey’s ready for it with her own unique chic.
In Bailey’s words …
"One of the trends I’m loving is all about mixing traditional pieces with funk and fun. For instance – a classic trench in a pretty print – it’s unexpected and playful. I’m also loving this classic blazer in a dark wash denim paired with an ultra-feminine lace pencil skirt. Finally, putting the statement necklace with a bold top creates a perfect balance between a very relevant fashion trend and tried-and-true tradition."

I don’t want to use the word lazy, but we all get a little set in our ways; and for me that’s been wearing my knit jeans 80% of the time. So this year I’m adding a selection of classic, clean wardrobing options for a more polished, professional look. My mantra: it IS ok to cheat on your jeans!

I tend to do basic black or head-to-toe monochromatic looks, so this year I vow to inject mood-lifting color into the mix. And tossing on a scarf is the easiest way we know. Oh, and for great styling tips, visit our New Ways To Tie A Scarf video.
